Dan was a 4th round pick of the Kansas City Royals in the 1979 baseball draft. He didn't play but he can still deliver a pretty good ball. On the same day the Kansas city Royals picked in the 18th round another future NFL QB - John Elway. He is shown in the next two pictures at a charity event showing his baseball skills. |
