The Dolphins won the last NFL game ever played at the Kingdome in Seattle.
It was destroyed after the game and a new stadium was built to replace it.

In his last victory Dan Marino was back to his old tricks leading the Dolphins to a comeback victory in the last seconds of the game.

Tony Martin in his second term with the Dolphins managed to finish the 99 season with more than 1000 yards and became Miami's deep threat in the passing game.

In a meaningless end of the year game Damon Huard was given time to play. His unmarinolike slow release of the football often ended with sacks. This Redskin game was the last time Marino played in Miami.

In the 1999 game at Indianapolis, Oronde Gadsden had a great game. Facing 4th and 10 from midfield, Marino read the blitz and threw a 48 yard bomb to Gadsden. Two plays later Gadsden was celebrating a 2 yard game winning TD catch from Danny at the back of the endzone.

Dan Marino finished the game with 393 yards, 176 of them coming in the 25 point 4th quarter leading the team back from a big deficit. Gadsden was the last one doing the celebrating.

In its history Miami had 4 dual 100 yard rushing games. Two of the four were by the tandem Larry Csonka and Jim Kiick (both in 1971). The most recent time it happened was October 5, 1975 against the Green bay Packers, Mercury Morris rushed for 125 yards on 31 attempts while Don nottingham had 21 carries for 102 yards and 3 TDs.

K Garo Yepremian is the only Dolphin to be named MVP of the pro bowl. On January 20th, 1974 Yepremian booted 5 FGs to account for all of the AFC's scoring in a 15-13 win.
