QB Griese did not play well, and that's an understatement. Take away the fluke TD play when McKnight turned a 3 yard pass into an 80 yard TD and Griese had about 50 yards in prevent defense. He merits an F. Fielder on the other hand wasn't great but he had confidence and sparked the offense. Suddenly an 8 yard out to Chambers wasn't a big deal. He merits an A for the momentum swing alone. B
RB Ricky was quite for 3 quarters untill he exploded with a 56 yard 4th quarter. He showed his usual speed and scored the two TDs that turned the game in Miami's favour. He had his second straight 100 yard game. B+
WR Great play by McKnight on the 80 yard TD pass (78 yard of them were a run by McKnight), Chambers also looked good once Fiedler was on the field. C+
OL Fiedler makes them look better because he moves better and buys time. He still had occasions when he was leveled, they must improve if Miami stands any chance later on. C
LB Washington ran way more than expected. The LBs got burnt a few times by the Redskins speed in their RB by comitee approach. C+
DL It wasn't their best game but they still played OK, Taylor had a couple of sacks on the day. C+
Secondary They were facing a backup QB that never threw a meanigful NFL pass. He looked well at the begining but the secondary got better with time and by the end of the day they kept the opposing QB to 50 percent completion rate. C+
Special teams The fumble on the punt return was inexcusable. Matt Turk got a brilliant punt to clinch the victory. A 56 yard 4.72 second punt that was fumbled by Washington and recovered with great team work by Thompson and McKnight. B+
Coaching It looked like it was over at times but they got back in it. They inserted Fiedler at the exact time and went for it on 4th and goal from the one. I also liked the throw on 1st and goal from the 1, I know it didn't work but it was the right call in my opinion. B+
