QB Ryan Tannehill was awful. By far, his worst game since week 1. He threw 3 INTs after he didn't throw any INTs in over a month. He finished 23 of 39 for 217 yards and 3 TDs. The Dolphins scored 9 points in the last 6 quarters. That's just bad. F
RB Bush was benched after a fumble in the first quarter and it was all downhill from there for the Dolphins.Thomas played OK and we saw a rare Lamar Miller sighting (3 carries for 12 yards). Lane could not convert on 3rd and 1. The Dolphins were in catch up mode by the seconda quarter and gave up in the third. That's how bad this 37-3 game was. D-
WR Hartline caught 8 passes for 79 yards, Bess 4 for 53 but the longest pass went for only 17 yards. Gaffney dropped another pass. They didn't give Tannehill any spark when he needed to. No separation all day. Even Hartline seemed to catch short passes when he was very close to the defender. That's another unit that's reponsible for the 9 points in six quarters stat. D-
OL The running performance is just bad. They were pushed back on a 3rd and one (Lane wasn't close) and Thomas managed to fall forward after contact in the backfield. Tannehill was sacked three times but it's not loke the Titans tried to sack him, what for ? They well in coverage. 9 points in six quarters... Incognito made a 15 yard penalty negating a 14 yard advancement - 29 yard swing early when it still counted. The Dolphins punted. D--
LB Jake LOcker is not a very good QB but the Dolphins defense made him look like a semi-Marino. He scrambled and made plays all day even though he completed only 9 passes. Dansby was the lone bright spot. He always plays well but he did drop a possible INT. D-
DL Chris Johnson had a field day (The Titans rushed for 177 yards!). When it's once you can say it's a fluke but it's happened a few times already. Let's be hones the run D is not very good right now and CJ Spiller is coming up on Thursday. They could not keep Locker from scarmbling and they couldn't pressure him either, even Wake couldn't get to him. ZERO sacks. F
Secondary Another awful performance. Smith again dropped an easy INT, the secondary just broke down. Locker completed 9 balls - 2 of them TDs. They gave up a 26 yard score to someone named Cook ?! D-
Special teams Even Brandon Fields had a bad day. They seemed to be called for holding or illegal block on every punt return and the kickoff return game was nothing to write home about. Thygpen let a punt pass him that resulted in a 70 yard punt with a net of ... drum roll... 70 yards - That was the Dolphins day. F
Coaching How can they play so bad at home. minus 4 turnover differential ? Bush rightfully benched (didn't help us see Miller though). Incognito - awful penalty, a million penalties on special teams and OL. Gave up first down or TDs in seemingly every 3rd down. What the hell was that game ? 37-3 at home to the Titans - a team that gave up 50 at home the week before. AWFUL GAME. F---
