QBRyan Tannehill was OK without any help from the run game. He finished the game 27 for 42 for 229 yards, 2 TDs and one hail mary INT. He did miss a wide open Mike Wallace on a long ball and also had the opportunity to score from inside the 10 and threw an incompletion instead of trying to run it in. B-
RB AWFUL. The entire team ran for... 2 yards. That's T-W-O yards! after running for over 300 the past two games. TWO! And to be honsed Daniel Thomas was tackled for a safety 3 yards deep in Miami's endzone meaning if it wasn't a safety the team had 3 less yards making them run for a negative of one yard. Needless to say it was the worst rushing performance in franchise history. Miller "led" the team with 2 yards... F!!!
WR A breakout game for Rishard Matthews. He caught 11 passes for 120 yards and his first ever TD (he had 2 scores). Wallace was very quiet but open on a long ball and Tannehill just missed him wide and never gave him a chance. Clay was also quiet for the second straight game but a part of it was Matthewsw great game. C+
OL TWO yards rushing. Really, this is no misprint. They didn't give up a sack until it matterred in the fourth when they gave up two back to back sacks on the last drive. TWO yards rushing says it all. F
LB A very bad game. The Buccs played with their 4th string RB and to put it in proportion their second string RB is a sixth round rookie that was Lamar Miller's backup in college. That did not stop them from running all over the Dolphins and even when they managed to stop te Buccs Wheeler mad a personal foul to give the Buccs a first down. F
DL With all the talk about a great D-line the Dolphins could not pressure the rookie QB and could not stop the run. The Buccs 140 yards rushing were not made up of one big run but the worst kind of runs, the 7,8,10 yard type runs. No D-lineman had a single sack. F
Secondary The Buccs are not a very good team and Glenon only managed 10 completions but they did have a few breaups in coverage. One resulting in a 30 yard gain. Wilson had a pick. B-
Special teams Fields wasn't as good as usual but he did make one great punt that went out of bounds at the Buccs one yard line. All others were OK. C
Coaching What a horrible game. The Buccs are a bad team. The Dolphins had 11 days to prepare following their Thursday night game. They did have the locker room Incognito-Martin fiasco as a distraction but that's not an excuse. They looked unprepared and disinterested. They did not want to play and certainly were not ready to play. Just an embaracing performance, especially in the first half. F!!!
