QB Tua had a decent game (22/34, 215 yards and a TD), he did not make any mistakes, had a decent completion average that wasn't helped by the drops and played an OK game. He could have been more accurte in the long ball to Hill but other than that he was fine. B-
RB Suddenly the Dolphins found a running game. Achane plyed well and had his first 100 yard game of the season rushing (17 fpr 120) helped by a long 50 yard score, exactly the missing ingridient compared to last year. Mosteret and Wilson played well when given a chance. The Dolphins finished with 166 yards rushing. A-
WR The Dolphins passing game was OK and did not have to carry this game as the run game was effective. Achane had 6 for 70 and Smith had 6 for 62 becoming the franchise record holder for TE for both catches and yards. He is, by far, the best addition of the year. Tyreek had 2 (maybe 3) drops, at least two could have been long TDs. He just did not look the same as in 2022 and 2023 all year. Waddle missed the game with an injury. C-
OL The Dolphins rotated Wynn and Eichenberg at RG and also had Terron and Lamm back. They played much better than in recent weeks. B
LB The defense was OK but when Jordyn Brooks went down with an injury the entire defense did not look the same. He is quietly having a very good year in this Miami dissapointing season. The Dolphins played Riley when Brooks got injured and the drop off was significant. The tackling could have been better. B-
DL The defense was OK going against a banged up team. Not a lot of pressure but a decent game all around. B-
Secondary Kendall Fuller was injured, and the tackling wasn't very good. The Dolphins will be shopping for not one but 2 starting safeties next year. Holland did not help his free agent cause with the tackling. C
Special teams Jason Sanders was excellent, he was 5 of 5 in FGs including a now routine 54 yarder and a 48 yarder. He accounted for 17 points. He did have one kickoff out of bounds but other than that great game. A-
Coaching
This was closer than it should have been. The Dolphins season is practically over as a million things have to happen for them to make the playoffs. But they still have a chance at a winning season if that counts for anything. B-
