QB Ryan Tannehill was solid with the makeshift O-line. He was 20 of 30 for 285 yarrds and 3 TDs with no INTs. He was very accurate and also rasn for 34 yards on 6 important rushes. A very very good game. The last 2 drives when the team failed to get a first down almost cost Miami the game but it wasn't Tannehill's fault. A
RB The Dolphins could not run the ball. Ajayi managed just 45 yards on 18 (!) rushes against the worst rushing defense in the NFL. He also tends to have negative plays that really hurt drives (a 6 yard loss on a normal run ?). The Dolphins needed just 1 first down to end the game and the run game could not deliver. It wasn't a game to remember. The RBs miss the O-line the most. D
WR They had a decent game. Parker played well but was just unlucky when 2 big time receptions were overturned by replay. Great effort though. He looks different when healthy. He had 3 recptions for 64 yards including a great 46 yarder. Stills had 3 catches for 72 including a 43 yard TD. Landry added 4 for 47 and Leonte Carron got his first ever TD. B+
OL That was tough, missing 3 starters is just too much. The Dolphins survived but they can not continue like this for long. There were ZERO running lanes and the pass protection was OK at best against a really bad defense. THis will not be enough next week against the Ravens. If the starters don't come back... C-
LB Kiko Alonso is really plying well. He got an INT on a delections and a also caused a fumble. Butler and Hewitt were OK but Kapernick ran wild and that was unacceptable. C+
DL The run stopping was not very good especially against Kapernick. 10 rushes for 113 yards! Other than that they were OK, Suh saved the game at the end. C+
Secondary Kapernick threw for 296 yards! freaking Colin Kapernick - that's not good. He also ran wild. Thank god the Dolphins managed to squeak out a victory. C-
Special teams It was a decent and very busy game. Darr had a decent game. Why didn't the coaches let him kick a 52 yard FG ?? Drake had a great 78 yard yard kick return and the Dolphins managed to come away without points. B+
Coaching Wake dropping on 4th and long, really ? This was not a good gmae. They were not ready for Kapernick. They mangaed a victory without the 3 O-linemen, now it's on to Baltimore to a very very important game. C
