QB Griese, making his first start for the injured Fiedler was great, he comleted 20 of 29 for 192 yards and 3 TDs with no INTs. He was almost perfect in the first half going 13 of 14 with 3 TDs. Miami's top QB performance of the year. A
RB Ricky was stopped again by a defense that forced Miami to win with the pass. The O-line play must improve but Williams too could have done better. He fumbled at the Miami 1. D
WR The WRs finally arrived. Chambers had 3 cathches but one of them was a 49 yard catch and run and McKnight was also very productive. Chambers, McKnight and McMichael had 1 TD each. B
OL The O-line is just not playing very well. Ricky couldn't find running room. They were aided by Griese's slightly quicker release. C-
LB They played great, San Diego couldn't run. There was no short passing game. A great effort. Zach had an INT. A
DL no running game and 6 sacks. Zgonina and Ogunleye had 2 each. They just had a brilliant game pressuring Brees all day long and scored a safety. A+
Secondary The Dolphins' secondary keeps giving up plays but preventing points. Boston caught a few balls but their big play ability showed again as Surtain had 2 INTs one in Miami's endzone and one he returned to the Charger 6. Madison was great again. A+
Special teams I've been saying this for a while. Mare is not a bad kicker but I don't think he has to be paid 2 million a year. Mare missed an easy 36 yard FG. It was insignificant against San Diego but it won't be next week. The team finally benched Rogers and went with Minor on kick returns and Simmons on punt returns. They did fine. D
Coaching The dolphins finally passed more on 1st down. But, we have to remember the Chargers are a very bad team. Still it was refreshing, especially with a backup QB. The next 2 weeks are huge with big time playoff considerations. B
