QB Another solid performance by Lucas. It's a shame he didn't play like this in his first 3 starts. Didn't throw an INT and he threw a very nice TD to McKnight. B+
RB Ricky ran all over the seemingly unrunable Chargers. He didn't get one great run but it was worse getting those solid moving-the-chains type 10-14 yard runs. He ran for 143 yards and 2 TDs. He passed the 1,000 yard mark on the year and became the only Dolphin with 6 100 yard gaems in a season. As good as avertised and more A
WR Welcome back McKnight. He took a 1 yard WR screen and turned it into a 77 yard gain, giving him more than 100 on the day and a TD. Chambers was OK. McMichael didn't catch a pass and that's alarming because the Dolphins will need him down the strech. B
OL Lucas was sacked only once. Ricky ran wild all over the field, granted some was Ricky's making but the rest was just very good play by the OL. B+
DL The NFL's rushing king Ladanian Tomlinson went nowhere averaging less than 3 yards a rush finishing with 45 rushing yards. Taylor had 1.5 sacks giving him more than 10 on the year. A
LB Brees, Tomlinson and Co. made 3 points, T-H-R-E-E. Enough said. A
Secondary They played very well. Brees is a better QB but Miami's secondary when clicking on all cylinders can stop anyone. Surtain got an INT only to be called back on roughing the passer penalty on Zach and that's a shame because he came into the game sharing the league lead with 5. A
Special teams Mare missed a long FG. The coverage teams were good and so were the other units. B-
Coaching Great game. A very important game coming up at Buffalo, a win and Miami is on the right track to make the playoffs and win the division (remember only 2 wildcards from this year on) A
