QB Fiedler had a solid day passing. He finished with over 230 yards and a TD with no INTs and he went deep often, connecting with Chambers on passes of 40, 26 and 26 yards. He did underthrow on some deep passes. B+
RB Everyone at the Stadium knew the Raiders will go after Williams. He finished the first half with 36 yards but he managed to end the game with his 9th 100 yards game, the 5th consecutive 100 yard game (both Dolphins records). He had 101 yards on the day and he was also the reason for the solid passing game because of the play action. He took over the 4th quarter and when the Dolphins needed to run out the clock he had 10+ yard gains for first down (gone are the days of Jabar going 3 times for -4 yards and a punt). He did fumble again inside Miami's 20 (although his knee did touch the ground and I think the officials made a mistake). B
WR Solid game for the WRs. Chambers had a career day catching 7 passes for 138 yards. McKnight also had a good game and Cris Carter caught his first TD as a Dolphin on a one handed catch. B+
OL Nice game. Fiedler usually had time. They were ganging up on the run so Ricky's bad runs weren't entirely their fault. B
LB Zach covered Jerry Rice like a corner. Solid game. B+
DL They had 5 sacks. Taylor had 3 (17 on the year, tops the NFL), Williams one and Ogunleye had his 8th of the year. They did slow down in the 3rd when Gannon had a very nice drive but they came back and rushed Gannon with only the front 4. A-
Secondary Gannon was limited to 204 yards. Sometimes he had plenty of time but he couldn't find anybody open. They passes the WRs from one to another and totally shut down the Raider WRs. Rice and Brown had only 6 receptions all game. Fletcher and Wooden played a lot and well in their nickel/dime role respectivly. A
Special teams A side from the punt return fumble recovery by the Raiders, they didn't play very well. Baker had some bad decisions. Mare missed a 40 yard FG and almost missed a 27 yarder. The punting was OK and they had one good kick return. C-
Coaching Great job by the coaching staff. The Dolphins have another short trip with a potential trap in Minnesota. They shouldn't look ahead at New England, because if they will they could lose at Minnesota. The Vikings are a good team, better then their 4-10 record indicates. A
