QB Tua had a solid game, did what needed to be done to win going 21 of 24 for 224 yards and a perfect 60 yard TD. He did throw one bad pass that almost got picked. B
RB They did not have a very good game but they did not need to do much. The team rushed for only 77 yards on 28 cariies, a miniscule 2.8 yard/carry average. C
WR They played their first game without Tyreek and the offense did look different, more short passes. Waddle was brilliant catching 8 for 142 and a TD but other that him the rest of the WRs are not playing very well. Berrios had 1 catch for 12 yards, Wilson and Claypool 2 each for a grand total of 10 yards combined... Ouuch. B-
OL C Connor Williams loss is a major problem. The three interior linemen are backups and Austin Jackson was also injured. They just don't look the same without Williams and Hunt and that's a major problem. The entire defense looks off. Not to mention there is no depth if something happens to one of them. C+
LB Wow, Bradley Chubb! 2.5 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, 2 fumbles and one fumble recovery, He gets an A+ all by himself and the rest also played a solid game. A+
DL A great game, the Jets could not run, the front 7 dominated and there was a feeling the Jets won't score even if they continued playing 4 more quarters.. A
Secondary The Jets had 4 total yards in the first half. Playong without 3 of the 4 starters went well... But they really need everyone back next week against CeeDee Lamb, though test ahead. A
Special teams Great play stoping the fake punt, they played well. A-
Coaching
What a turnaround. I know it was the Jets but still anythig can happen on any given Sunday and we witneesed it first hand last Monday night. Unfortuantely, the Bills won, meaning the Titans loss means the division is porbably going to be decided in the last game against the Bills... That's just not a very good scenario. The team needs Tyreek back and try to win a tough but winnable game next week against the Cowboys that play much better at home than on the road. Let's hopw so... A
