QB Ryan Tannehill's first pick six cost the game for Miami. He did not play very well as he went only 16 of 36 for 196 yards and the INT. D+
RB Reggie Bush was injured after a very good first half - 10 carries for 61 yards. Daniel Thomas wasn't as effective and Miller still has trouble in pass protecting. B-
WR Hartline caught only one ball for 41 yards. Bess had 5 for 86 yards but that's was basically it for he WRs. C-
OL The running performance was OK. Thy are certainly not responsible for the INT and missed FG that cost Miami the game. Tannehill was protected OK most of the time. They did enough to win this game. B-
LB The Jets managed to move the ball in the 4th quarter and OT. They should have gotten to Sanchez more. Zero sacks for the LBs. C
DL They got 2 sacks and played OK against the Jets running game. C+
Secondary They let Mark Sanchez throw for more than 300 yards ! Sanchez ! Palmer is one thing but Sanchez. He is an awful QB, He really is, he is just hyped as the entire Jets football team. They are not very good and the Dolphins should have never let them back in the game. D-
Special teams Carpenter lost the game for Miami, There is no other way to put it. He missed a 48 yard FG in the first half that shoould have put the Dolphins up by 16 and misses again from 47 in OT. Did anyone think he was going to make the 47 yard FG in OT after seeing his earlier miss ?? I didn't. To think the Phins are paying him 2.5 million dollars a season ? I realize his 2012 saslary is guaranteed but they should get another kicker for a few hundred thousand dollars a year in 2013 and spent that money on a skill position because Carpenter is not worth it. We'll see how is he going to do next week at Arizona. F
Coaching The Dolphins should have never lost this game. The icing the kicker timeout was one thing but the play calling was weirs at times. A very frustrating loss to a bad team. If you don't beleive me wait for the Jets next week's game against the niners. C-
