QB Another bad game for Harrington. He was pulled at halftime in favor of Lemon. Lemon played better but was still off on a few throws. He did throw his first career TD. Harrington was only 7 of 15 for 42 yards (rating of 52.6). Lemon went 11 of 16 for 104 yards and a TD (107.3 rating points). At the end the Dolphins only scored 10 at home. Lemon saves the F. D+
RB Brown played very well. He ran hard and kept getting the 7-8 yard gains that are best to sustain drives. I don't think he was used enough. He finished with 18 carries for 110 yards (6.1 average). Morris ran 6 times for 14 yards, Brown clearly looked better. B+
WR They are just playing bad droping passed and not getting any separation. McMichael led the way with 5 catches for 46 yards and a TD. Chambers had only 1 reception. It's also his only reception in two weeks. Hagan had 3 catches to go with Welker's 1. The WRs caught 5 balls. Ouch. F
OL The running game looked good and generaly the QBs had enough time although they did have to throw away a couple of times. Again, they only scored 10 points. D
LB Zach had a decent game although there is not excusing the long catch and run reception that led to the game winning FG. A quiet day for Crowder. C-
DL The line could have played better. There wasn't a lot of pressure. The team only had 1 sack, Taylor's. C
Secondary The secondary did enough to lose the game. They just could not tackle the Jets' Washington in his 64 yard catch and run at the end. The defense only gave up 13 points but the last 3 came in the worst time. C
Special teams They had an OK game. Mare connected in his two attempts. It wasn't the special teams play that lost the game. B
Coaching Awful. I was yelling at the TV, the first play is a screen way before the snap. With under 2 minutes to go with a so-so QB and afraid to give up a turnover and the game away to a team with no offense (no ability to move the ball on long drives) it was crystal clear the first play is a screen, offenses love this play against prevent-2-minute defenses. If it doesn't work you punt and go to OT, if it does you start the drive in goos position with little risk. The Jets got 64 yards on the screen and the win yesterday. D-
