QB Frerotte had an average day finishing 16 of 28 for 168 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. He did complete a long reception to David Boston for 54 yards. C+
RB Ronnie and Ricky had the best running day of the year. They also became the first two DOlphins backs to go over 80 yards in the same game since the late 70s. Ronnie had 106 yards on 23 rushes. The bulk cominf on a 35 yard run in the 4th quarter. Ricky had 82 yards on 17 carries go for 11, 13 and 16 yards at a time. He looked very very good. This was the kinf of game that in the past Ricky would have easily finished with 150 yards on 30 carries. Perfect game for the R&R combo. They won the game for Miami. The O-line opened some holes. The Phins will never lose when they run like that for 188 yards. A+
WR Boston had a 54 yard catch at the begining but it was his only completion. I think the Dolphins should try to use him more, he certainly has the power, size and speed. booker had 3 catches for 40 yards and Chambers had 4 for only 25 yards and a TD. McMichael finished with 3 catches for only 20 yards and he is not playing as good as he did in the first 3 or 4 games of the season. Welker added 3 receptions as well. When the team runs like that you won't see impressive numbers in the passing game, they are just not needed. B-
OL Just a very solid game for the O-line. They played better than they did all year long. They allowed 2 sacks and Frerotte usually had time to throw. Ricky and Ronnie are good players but when you run for 188 yards some of it is O-line play. B+
LB Seau did not play and the Dolphins did look shaky at times against the run (they allowed a 23 yard run and a 20 yard QB run), but as a hole this was a solid outing for this group. Zach was unusually quiet. Crowder had a busy day instead. B
DL Their best game of the year. Holliday played very well and had a sack. Carter had a safety on one sack, even Keith Traylor had a sack. They had 5 of the team's 6 sacks. A-
Secondary Against pretty good competition they played well, some of the Dolphins pressures and sacks resulted from good coverage downfield. Bell had a sack on a very nice play when he just refused to quit. They got by despite losing Madison to injury. B+
Special teams Mare went 4 of 5 with a long of 47 yards. Jones had a 46 yard average on 4 punts. He is playing much better now than he did at the begining of the year. Welker had an 11 yard punt return but his kickoff returns weren't anything extraordinary. B
Coaching The team's best game since week 1 despite playing without Seau and even more important without Madison in a secondary that had its problems to begin with. They were much balanced running in aroud 57% of the plays. The defense generated pressure and played well against a solid offense. B
