QB Henne had his best day as a Dolphin playing some excellent near perfect at times showing of his cannon like arm. He had career highs of 29 completions of 52 attempts for 335 yards, 2 TDs and an INT. He made some clutch throws on third down and played well all around. At times, he does look like the real deal, let's not forget it's his first season as a starter and he is 6-3 as a starter. A-
RB Ricky was his usual reliable self getting 75 yards on 18 carries. He had a solid game. Another day in the office for Miami's number one player. Hilliard had 5 carries for 12 yards. The Phins came out with a plan to throw the ball this time and it worked. B+
WR Bess had his best game as a Dolphin and even Ginn made some great catches in clutch situations. Bess finished the game with 9 catches for 117 yards. Ginn is probably built for being the WR covered one on one when his teamate is doubled. Hartline caught his 3rd TD of the year. Fasano again was solid with 5 catches. B+
OL Henne had time in most cases and the run blocking was solid. Garner missed a crucial block on 4th down that cost the Phins the posssesion. I didn't understand why Hilliard is running on 4th instead of Ricky anyway. Nice game B
LB No sacks but a few hurries on the game and some decent run stopping especially in the second half. The TE was kept in check. B-
DL Nice game, they didn't get to Brady but hurried him a couple of times into bad throws. Randy Starks is playing at a probowl level, too bad the Dolphins are outside the playoff race looking in or else Starks was a series contender to go to the probowl, he is playing that good. B-
Secondary They allowed an 81 yard TD (Smith), a 58 yard TD (Davis) a 58 yard play to Welker abd almost another TD in the 70s (Smith) that barley got away from the WR. They were just lucky to win this game. Granted one of the reasons they won is Davis nice INT. That INT saves them from an F. D-
Special teams Ginn is a hit or miss returner (as long as he doesn't have any blocking). He had two awful returns and one great one that went for 51 yards. He finished the game averaging 26 yards on 4 returns. Carpenter won the game at the end with the clutch kick. B
Coaching Nice game plan passing the ball with Henne, it worked better that anyone anticipated and they stuck with it. How they managed to win after giving up a 81 yard TD and TWO 58 yard throws (one a TD) is just odd. Oh, if not for the Bufflao loss last week... They could have actuallt been a series playoff contender. B+
