QB Pennington had a decebt day racking up 341 yards on 24 of 41 passing and 3 TDs but he did throw an INT late in the game that seasled the Pats victory. He spread the ball evenly to his 3 WRs - Ginn, Bess and Camarillo each catching 5-6 passes. B+
RB It was a passing game for the Dolphins. Ronnie and Ricky did not get it going in the runing game and the Phins relied heavily on the pass. Ronnie ended with 10 for 37 and Ricky 6 for 21. C
WR Camarillo 6 for 75, Bess 5 for 87 and Ginn 5 for 88. The three WRs contribute with nice catches and very few drops (suprisingly Ginn dropped a pass). Martin also played well with 4 catches for 60 yards. Cramer, Ricky and Camarillo caught the 3 TD passes thrown by Chad. Ginn caught a nice 46 yarder. B+
OL The pass protection could have been better as Chad was hurried, hit and sacked a few time. The run blocking was below average again. The Dolphins still have serious questions in the O-line even with Long and Smiley. C-
LB 48 points scored by the Pats is enough to grade the entire defense. They had trouble contatning the Pats' run game . D-
DL There was no pressure from the base defense. They jad to blitz to get to Cassel and then left the DBs one on one on the Pats's WRs including Welker and Moss. D-
Secondary Sometimes they had good coverage and Moss beat them but they did play soft at times. They gave up 415 yards to QB Matt Cassel, I mean he is playing better but 415 yards ?! He is starting his 10th game since high school after all .F
Special teams The Dolphins' adventures continue. I realize Ginn was trying to create something when the game is lost but somehow returning a kickoff to the Phins 1 yard line ?! I'm not sure theere was ever a kick returned for a safety not resulting from a fumble, that was close. Their grade actaully goes up from last week but not by much, after all, they did give the Pats the ball at the 40 trying to avoid a simple kickoff return... D-
Coaching The defense was just beaten and could not stop the Pats. I mean long drives, 500+ total yards and 48 points at home is just bad, playing like that in the biggest game in the last 4-5 years is even worse. D-
