QB Aside from the begining of the third quarter Frerotte played well. His WRs dropped a few balls resulting in him going only 25 of 47 but he had 360 yards and 2 TDs with 1 INT. But when the Dolphins needed a TD he couldn't get it in from the 5 with 4 tries. The team ran a pretty hard to complete fade pass twice. The last ball was thrown low but Chambers should have caught it and he is not at fault that McMichael fumbled a ball inside the Pats red zone. B+
RB Ronnie played very well. It's now becoming a routine. He is very good and looks to be the real deal. Ricky had less success as he couldn't get outside when he tried and was stopped for losses a few times. He did have a brilliant catch but the Dolphins took the penalty instead. Ronnie finished with 64 yards on 14 carries (4.6 average) and Ricky had only 13 yards on 11 carries. Ronnie added 4 catches for 28 yards and Ricky had one catch for 19. C+
WR They didn't play as well as they should going against a pretty banged up secondary. Booker had a very good game finishing with 102 yards on 5 catches. Chambers had 2 TDs but dropped a few balls including the 4th and goal throw (6 catches for 69 yards). Welker had one huge 47 yarder. McMichael was solid with 7 catches for 81 yards but fumbled inside the Pats redzone. C+
OL It's time to recognize they are playing mush better than last year. Much better. The running game was average and they couldn't free Ricky to run outside and Frerotte was pressured a few times but by enlarge they played OK. B-
LB Heath Evand ran for 84 yards on 17 carries - HEATH EVANS ! They did manage to stop New England from scoring almost the entire first half. C
DL They sacked Brady twice but only for 1 yard (Taylor and Carter), Brady was hurried a few times but they could have played better against the run. C-
Secondary Brady finished with 275 yards and Daniels was called for a 49 yard penalty. Dwight ran away from Howard for a 59 yarder but other rhan that they played well considering it was Brady out there. They picked Brady off twice on two great plays by Tillman and Bell. Schulters also had a good game. You don't hear Madison's name much because opposing team can throw at Howard and Daniels so why bother throwing at Madison. They played better then the stats indicated. C-
Special teams There is no excuse for missing a 31 yard FG. I knew it would cost them and it did. The punting was great in the first half and average at best in the second. The return game was average. The covergae units did an OK job helped by a penalty on the Pats' first return. D+
Coaching Again they had 4 tries to put it in from the 5 and they blew it. Throwing twice the same play against the sun was bizzare. Maybe they should have run the ball at least once but that's second guesing. They did not try to throw at McMichale although he caught the ball well. They just weren't good enough at home against a pretty banged up New England team, they had their chance to tie the Pats and Bills for first place and they blew it. This season is now unofficialy a rebulding year. D+
