QBFiedler played pretty well. Take away the two late hail marry throws and he completed a very high percentage of his passes but he failed on 3rd and goal when it counted the most and he just had very few passes (21) B+
RB Williams was OK but like the passing game didn't get many playes. His string of 5 100 yard games. Game of the year is coming up next week. B-
WR McKnight's drop is inexcusable. Chambers had a 59 yard TD. McMichael's 15 yard personal foul on 3rd and a very short one should have been rewarded with benching, I mean those things costed Miami the game and perhaps the season. B-
OL They miss injured LG Jamie Nails. McKinney got his first chance and it showed. As for Dixon, it's one thing playing bad but havinf 3 flags in the first half, 2 for offsides ? Can't he just look and move when Fiedler does ? It was "flag" day all across the line. C
LB The Vikings killed Miami when it counted the most in the second half, there is no denying that. C-
DL Just drop on the damn ball ! Anyone over 230 lb. shouldn't try to pick the ball up. Culpeper lost 3 fumbles and recovered 2 in the first half alone.Taylor had 1.5 sacks and tied the franchise record of 18.5 sacks (Stanfill did it in a 14 game schedule in 1973) and Ogunleye had 1/5 sacks to give him 9/5 on the season, easily making him Miami's biggest surprise player. He could end the year with double digit sacks. See LBs as far as Culpeper's performance in the second half. D+
Secondary The Vikings killed Miami when it counted the most in the second half, there is no denying that. C-
Special teams Gary Anderson is 44 years old, no kidding. (kicker or no kicker this is football not backgammon). They should have blocked the 53 yard kick, it was a very low kick because he doesn't have a strong leg anymore (apparently it's strong enough though) D+
Coaching Here we go again... 2-5 on the road ? This is no Superbowl team. A superbowl team shouldn't drop this kind of game, no matter what. The Dolphins are simply a better team across the board. The Dolphins have 6 pro bowlers (most in AFC and second in NFL), the NFL's leading rusher, sacker, Interceptor for crying out loud. The season will be determined in Snowy New England next week. Let's just pray... (and while you're at it pray for Pittsburgh to go 1-1 and Oakland to lose (only if Miami wins...) and Tennessee to win F
