QB Griese's numbers were OK, but he didn't play that well fumbling the potential game winning ball. He finished 18 of 29 for 231 yards and 1 TD. He also couldn't deliver a TD at the end settling for a FG. He gets a lot of sacks and every sack is usually 10+ yards. So much for quicker release than Fielder's. You can't help but thinking Fielder's winner mentality could have won it at the end... C-
RB Ricky didn't play well. The O-line isn't helping but it's really not an excuse. He finished with 36 yards. That's just awful. D-
WR The entire WRs corps had 3 catches, all by Chambers. Thompson and McKnight didn't even get a single reception. I wonder when it's time to try other people at WR. McMichael had a good game and he is the only bright spot in this offense this year, but when your TE leads your team in receptions every week the WRs aren't playing well. McMichael saves the unit from an F. D
OL The O-line is just not playing good. They are not a very good unit to be honest, and they usually play accordingly. Wade Smith gave up 3 sacks including the crucial one at the end. D-
LB Giving up 23 points to the Colts is not that bad. The Colts are one of the best if not the best offense in football. C
DL The run defense could have been better, but, the pass rush was OK getting 4 sacks, 2 by Ogunleye. He is having a monster year with 9 sacks already. B
Secondary The tackling was a joke. T-Buck saved the day when he intercepted Manning, but Miami's offense is so inept they couldn't even win when they get the ball at the Indy 15...D-
Special teams The kick returns are very very bad. When your best player in a home game is your punter, I mean, this is Bengals' type level. D
Coaching You put a rookie LT against a great DE, The DE goes wild sacking and killing the QB and then 2nd and 8 on the 13 with seconds to go you don't put 10 people on Freeny. I just don't understand. 1st and 10 from the 15 they ran Ricky which was awful all day (3 yard game, surprise). It didn't even look like they tried for a TD at the end and just setteled for a FG. This team plays not to lose and not for the win. For example, 2 minutes to go in the half they try going long in an attitue of if we can't get a big play at least we won't turn it over (The Colts scored 3 before the half...). F
