QB Trent Green was injured very early. It does not look good as he had another concussion. Lemon played most of the game. He went 15 of 27 for 151 yards and 1 INT. He had a few bad plays but usualy threw short. D+
RB Ronnie Brown is, by far, the best Dolphin player (is he the only good player ?). He is having a huge season. He added another 114 yards on 23 carries to his total (and a TD). He also caught 5 passes for 39 yards. Sometimes when a pass play din't go well, you had the feeling of "just give him the ball and don't interfere". A
WR Chambers dissappeared (2 catches, 19 yards). Booker played a little better (5 for 45 yards). Those are certainly not starting caliber WR numbers. Ginn had one nice catch for 36 yards and he was in on more passing plays. D
OL Ronnie is having a huge 3 game strech but some of it has to go to the o-line. The run-blocking was solid. The pass-blocking was OK, although Carey gave up a sack that pushed Miami out of FG range and ultimately the difference in the game was exactly 3 points. B-
LB Welvcome back Zach. The results followed. The Texans did not reach 100 yards rushing. The TE was open way too much. Porter had some nice plays in the first half. C-
DL The D-line played better but still had no pressure on Schaub. Taylor did have two sacks to go along with a stupid 15 yard penalty that left the Texans offense on the field. They scored their only TD on this drive. Schaub had all day to throw and with this kind of time anybody will find someone open. D
Secondary They played very soft in the second half. They gave up a lot of medium range passes. Worrell was burnt and the team misses Darius/Bell more than we ever thought. D
Special teams Ginn played very well averaging more than 35 yards on 5 returns including a season long of 52 yards. Felley was perfect again with 4 FG and a long of 48. I have a feeling he would have made that 56 yarder. The Dolphins should have tried to get 4-5 yards and kick a 51-52 yarder for the lead, he looked that good. The coverage team gave way too much on the Texans' returns. B-
Coaching I just don't get the decision at the end. You know your D is soft to say the least. You can pound Ronnie on 3rd and 9 and with the surprise alone he gets, say 4 yards, you waste 40 seconds off the clock and you kick a 51-52 yard FG for the lead. Felley has made 21 straight FGs including a 48 yarder in the game that split the uprights easily. The Dolphins are 0-5 and that's all there is to it. D-
