QB Lucas was awful again. He threw 2 INTs, one was returned for an 89 yard TD when he threw into quadruple covergae (even Dan threw to triple coverage max and with different results). The second INT killed Miami, the 4 Packers were almost fighting for that INT, it was that bad. He also threw only short passes, apparantley as a way to increase his confidence. You've heard it here first - If he continues like this, playing Rosenfels is not out of the question. F
RB Ricky didn't have a lot of chances. There is obviously a drop in his production since Fiedler's injury. He's not facing 8 men in the box he's facing 11.C-
WR Receivers ? 4 minutes to go Carter had 1 reception (which he fumbled) and Chambers didn't have any receptions. That's how bad they were. F
OL OK, Enough with the Spriggs experiment, LT Mark Dixon will be back next week. Spriggs was beaten badly, but it's not only him, the Dolphins OL is not playing well across the line. There were no holes for Ricky and the pass coverage wasn't something to write home about. F
DL Instead of going after an injured Favre, they were realxed. The run defense was non-exsistent F
LB Zach Thomas missed tackles. imagine how bad they played. F
Secondary I still think Madison is a little better then Surtain but I am begining to have my doubts, Madsion was beaten badly on national TV. Surtain made a great INT (finally one good play from that game). D+
Special teams The Dolphins didn't have to do much in that department. They were OK. C
Coaching To be honest a loss at Lambeu is not the end of the world (altough last week's home loss to Buffalo was), but it wasn't the loss itself but how they played. They didn't take chances and it seemd they didn't even want to try to win, they didn't look as tough they thougt they had a chance (with a 14-17 point lead and almost an entire half left), huge game next week.
