QB Harrington was solid in his return to Detroit, going 19 of 29 for 213 yards, 3 TDs an 1 INT. He wasn't helped by his WR. They dropped at least 4 or 5 passes. His rating was above 110 points and he would have been higher if not for the drops. Very good game for Joey. B+
RB Ronnie played well in the first half but he was injured and replaced by Morris. Morris had one huge 55 yard run but also lost a fumble. Morris finished 12 for 91 and Brown was 15 for 68 yards. Minor got into the action with 6 rushed for 27 yards. A good game for the rushing attack after the awful performance a few days ago against the Vikings. B+
WR They had a so and so game. They dropped 4-5 balls (2 by Hagan). Booker had a good game with 7 catches for 115 yards and 2 TDs but he dropped one easy pass as well. Chambers was not to be found but Booker made up for Chambers' absence in the critical stages. McMichael got in the endzone for the first time this year. C+
OL They played well although they did have too many penalties for offsides. The running game had room most of the day. Harrington had time although the Lions hardly ever blitzed him. B-
LB Zach had 2 sacks. They generaly did a good job and helped with the QB pressure. The Lions did not have a running game or a short passing game for that matter as well. B+
DL The D-line was huge. They had 6 of the team's 8 sacks and could have had more. Holliday had a great game with 2 sacks and a fumble recovery and so did Roth with 2 sacks and a forced fumble. Taylor did not have a sack but played well and helped others get pressure. Carter and Bowens also had a sack each. The Lions did not have a running game as well. A
Secondary They struggled at the begining with Roy Williams, but he is a very good WR and they were missing Will Allen and Travares Tillman. Renaldo Hill had an INT that led to a TD and gave Miami the lead for good. Hill looks better since Bell moved to the starting lineup. B+
Special teams Mare connected twice and had two touchbacks. The Dolphinsdid allow a 40 yard kick return but Welker also had a 45 yarder of his own. A good game overall. B-
Coaching They had a short week and they are in a situation where every game is a must win. They are now at 5-6. The hole is still too big to come out of but they are playing well, if they had only won one of the early games (Jets ? Bills ? Packers ? Texans ?), they could have been over 500 already. Nonetheless, the team played very well on the road in a short week. There are no easy games in the NFL, not even against the Lions. B+
