QB - Dan Marino had an excellent game going 15 of 23 for 215 yards, 2 TD and 124 QB rating. He has
done what ever was necesary of him and had 2 passes dropped and 2 caught out of bounds. Perfect game perfect grade - A+
WR - Not many throws in this game but still had a solid game especially Tony Martin who had 4 receptions for 101 yards including a 40 yard gain. O.J and Avery dropped passes that they should have caught.
generally a good game (but they shouldn't drop simple passes) - B+
RB - A good start for Konrad and J.J. Johnson Konrad was very impressive, but wasn't perfect in his blocking assignments. J.J was good, so was KAJ their average per rush
wasn't high because of the garbage time at the end (especially JJJ) - B
OL - Very good game only one rush resulted in negative yardage and both KAJ and JJJ got hammerd once near Denver's goal line (LB Wilson smashed the Dolphins on 2nd down and goal). Marino wasn't pressured
(but then again is it the line or the quick release - we will never know) - A
DL - Fine job on stoping Davis and pressuring Griese. Nice sack by Owens and good pick up by Taylor (in other situations Taylor should just fall on the ball !) A
LB - Can there be a better game for Zach Thomas ? Jones was very good and so was Rogers.
Easiest grade to give - A+
DB - Calvin Jackson had his greatest game in recent memory, tackling, guarding Shanon Sharpe, in short he was awsome.
But the others weren't as good. Marion is a great tackeler but he blew up the coverage on the first TD (with Wooden).
T-Buck was very good but Madison dropped a couple of easy INTs and was burned a few times although Mcaffery dropped the ball. He did show good coverage on some plays (and 1 interference penalty).
Surtain was good when he played - B
special teams - The coverage on kickoff return was so and so but the block punt and the blocked FG gave the Dolphins the lead and they never let go - A-
