QBRyan Tannehill was solid all day long. He didn't try to do much or throw downfield much but made plays when it counted the most - bringing the Dolphins back in the 4th to tie and then throwing that great pass after an even better decision to Mike Wallace in OT that resulted in the PI call. He finished 20 of 28 for 208 yards no TDs or INTs and a 92.6 rating. A-
RB Lamar Miller is playing good football, he did fumble at the end of a long run (great play by the defnder) but other than that he had his best day as a pro going over 100 yards for the first time ever. He finished the game with 16 carries for 105 yards (89 of then in the first half) and Thomas added 12 for 38. The Dolphins ran for 157 yards, a sesson best, one yard better than last week. A
WR A quiet game. Hartline had a great drive when the Dolphins managed to tie the game (although I'm not sure Hartline had two feet inbounds...) Wallace had a quiet but very good game as he led the WRs with 6 catches for 82 yards with a long of 40 and that crucial PI that was called because he badly beat his guy. B
OL We have stopped counting the sacks but the running game was solid and a big part of that is because of the improved O-line. McKinnie is just a big guy. He looks bigger than Soliai... B
LB They had their ups and downs on this close game. Bengals converted a lot of 3rd downs and they just couldn't seem to be able to tackle Bernard. On the upside a huge game saving INT by Ellerbe. B
DL Cam Wake is back. He was huge like the healthy Wake. He finished the game with 3 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a game winning safety. Vernon is also having a very good strech of games. The D-line had 5 total sacks. A
Secondary With all their injuries (including Patterson) they had big plays and managed to contain the all world AJ Green. Grimes had a 94 yard INT return for a TD and Patterson had his 4th INT of the season (and he basically played 4 games this season...). B+
Special teams Sturgis missed a 34 yard FG. The Dolphins should have never gotten to OT to begin wit. He did kick the team the FG that tied the game but missing like that is inexcusable. Fields was great as usual. D (Fields gets his usual A)
Coaching Wow. What a game. I just can not understand the second hal collapses. The were lucky but also had huge plays (2 40+ offensive plays), 5 sacks and 3 INTs including a very long pick six. But the play calling sometimes leaves you wondering, especially playing Thomas when Miller is playing so well. B-
