QB Ryan Tannehill was very solid as he led the team to his first career road victory. He was 17 of 26 for 223 yards with no TDs or INTs. He played very well, did not make any mistakes and moved the ball very well. B+
RB Reggie Bush played an average game (19 for 48 yards and a TD), sometimes he tries to get to the outside and he ends up losing yards.Daniel Thomas also had average day (10 for 29 and a TD). The average is low but he did have a couple of goal line runs (he scored) and he also ran when the team tried to run out the clock. C
WR The Dolphins have only 2 WRs and that's a problem. Hartline had only 59 yards but he did receive a critical pass interference penalty that saved the Dolphins late in the game. Clay both dropped a pass and even worse ran out of bounds for no reason with under two minutes remainig and the Bengals without any timeout - a really bad play that could have costed the game for the team. Bess only had 2 catches. C
OL A decent game for the oline- the gave up two sacks and couldn't move the Bengals on runing plays very well. They also failed to convert a 3rd and 1 and a 4th and 1. C+
LB They played well. The Bengals ran for 80 yards but 41 of them on two plays (a QB scramble for 12 and an awful tackling play of 29 yards). TE Gresham was also pretty quiet. A solid game for the LBs - all three. B+
DL The D-line played mostly well and managed to get to Dalton. Wake had a sack and Odrick, Soliai and Starks had 0.5 sack each. Starks also had a great INT. THE PLAY OF THE GAME. He is off to a probowl year. He's playing that good (already 3.5 sacks for the season from his DT position). B+
Secondary The weak spot was the best unit on the team. Sean Smith is playing great. Just great. AJ Green had 9 catches for only 65 yards and he did score on Smith but this is a top 3 WR, 65 yards is really good. Nolan Caroll also played well, so did the safeties. Jones is having a breakout year. He tackles very well and he always seems to make plays on the ball (another INT) even though he had a bad play on special teams. A-
Special teams Carpenter missed again... What were they thinking leting him try from 53... The turover on the punt return team is inexcusable. This team is not good enough to have those kind of mistakes. Although they did today. D
Coaching A solid game (by the way the officials were awful, awful spots and just bad decisions). I would have wanted them to try something different on 3rd and 1 when they know they are going to go for it on 4th down at the 35 of the Bengals (leting Carpenter try a very long FG is not realistic). Great away win. B+
