QB Pennington played well, going 22 of 30 for his Dolphin high 314 yards and 1 TD with no INT. He finnaly complted some long passes 46 and 64 to Ted Ginn and a 47 yarder to Ricky on a screen pass. A-
RB Ronnie and Ricky did not have a great game. They had multiple rushes for loss even 3-4 yard loss. Ronnie had 43 yards on 14 carries and Ricky added 16 on 7 carries including a TD. Ricky did have the long screen pass go for 47 yards. C+
WR WOW Ted Ginn !! where was he until today. Ginn started strong on a 46 yard pass and added 6 more including a 64 yarder for a total of 175 yards on his 7 receptions. Great breakout game. A
OL The run-blocking was so-so The pass blocking was mostly solid. Long is playing much better than in the begining of the year, he will be a great player. Smiley also played well. Evan Mathis played most of the game at RG. B-
LB The Defense played well most of the game, especially in the second half. Ayodele had a decent game, Porter is just having a monster year with 2 sacks and Forced fumble. The force fumble on the second half resulted in a safety that clinched the game for Miami. Porter has 10.5 sacks on 7 games this year - WOW. A-
DL They did have trouble at times stopping the run up the middle and the pass rush is horrible. The opponets OL should triple team Porter because he is the only one sacking the QB, a stupid off-side by Merling. Didn't hear Langford's name all day. Holliday was OK. C
Secondary They played much better. Goodman had a few pass defended and so did Jason Allen (Allen is playing excellent special teams by the way). Will Allen has actually caught an INT. Bell caused the clinching fumble at the end. Edwards was only 21 of 35 for 227 yards and an INT. B+
Special teamsGinn returning kicks is a big bonus, teams are avoiding kicking it to him. The coverage team need work. The Bills blocked a Dolphin FG which is unexcusable. D
Coaching This team beat 5-2 Pats, 5-2 Bills and a strong Charger team yet they lost to the Jets, Texans and Ravens... A good gamble putting Jason Allen in there, he obviously plays better than he practices. They must find a way to generate some pass rush from anyone not named Joey Porter. A good division win. B+
