QB Lucas was 13 of 33 for 165 yards with 1 TD and 4 INTs for a 26 QB rating (yes you can theoreticaly have that low of a number) . He also had 2 fumbles for a grand total of 6, count them SIX turnovers. The Dolphins actually didn't play that bad, Lucas lost it for the Dolphins all by himself. All of Fiedler's doubters have the answer. Fiedler is much, mush better. They are incomparable. Way below F !!!
RB Williams actually played OK. He jad 97 yards on 25 carries (under 4.0 average). Teams are ganging up on Williams bringing 8 and 9 men to the line and without a passing game (I mean with Dolphins catching..) it's hard. Considering the circumstances he played OK. B-
WR Well, a mixed day. They were getting open but some of the throws were just way off. I mean you sometimes couldn't uderstand what WR Lucas was throwing to. There were times they couldn't have caught the passes with 10 feet hand and a lasso. C+
OL Lucas had time most of the time, but he was hit. One of the reasons for him being hit was that he forgot to throw the ball. C+
DL A decent game for the DL. They had 5 sacks but the run defense was bad. Henry ran all over the place, gaining 132 yards on 22 carries. C+
LB They were OK against the pass but where was the run defense ? C-
Secondary Madison got beat for a 70 yard TD. Somehow Eric Moulds always plays good against Miami. But, the Dolphins did play well and held Bledsoe for 182 yards and under 50% completion. A turnover could have helped but then again, Lucas would have turned the ball over anyway. B+
Special teams Good return game. Minor played very well and so did Mare. Royals also played very well pinning the Bills inside their one yard line once. A-
Coaching They should have taken Lucas out of his olympus. (and maybe Rosenfels would have played better at the end, no kidding). All the talk about Lucas being just as good. Come on, you got to be joikng. Fielder is in a different galaxy then Lucas. It's like comparing Faver to Doug Peterson in Green bay. The differnce is that big and it showed. How the hell they are going to hold up until Fielder is what will determine this season. D
