QB A solid game for Lucas. He completed almost 70% of his throws for over 220 yards with no TDs or INTs. He also ran for a score. B-
RB Ricky Williams tied the Dolphin record with his 5th 100 yard game in a season when he rushed for 102 on 26 carries. He also had 2 TDs. However, his average per carry was under 4.0 again. Overall, a decent game for Williams. B
WR A nice game for McKnight. He had 5 catched with one big one going for 39. McMichael got the Dolphins longest catch of the year with a 45 yard reception. Chambers also had a decent game. B-
OL There is still problems in the run blocking. The pass protection was better as Lucas had more time to throw. B-
DL When a team has 7 sacks going against an OL featuring monster LT Johnathan Ogden, they must have been doing something right. They played very well. No running room for the Ravens either. A
LB Great game, albeit against a weak offensive unit. The run defense was superb. A-
Secondary They got beat once for a 28 yard score, but those things happen. They faced a very weak pass offnese with virtually no legitimate WRs other than Travis Taylor. They played well. Surtain got INT number 5 for the year. A-
Special teams They didnt have a crucial role. They did allow a few run backs. The punt return debut of Robert Baker was OK and Mare connected on a long FG. B-
Coaching Last week's ultra-conservative-Jerry-Falwell type play calling opened up a little. Lucas had two big throws, albeit with long runs after the catch. They are still playing conservative and primarly running. They are facing two huge challenges without Fiedler. A home game against the Chargers and a road game against Buffalo. The Dolphins' season is probably going to be determined in the next few weeks. B+
