QB Harrington threw 2 INTs, one of them is directly attributed to Chambers. He had 60 yards by the 4th quarter. Against prevent defense he padded his stats and finished 27 of 43 for 266 yards and 1 TD with 2 INTs. The Phins dropped 5 balls but he did have a WR wide open in the endzone but he didn't throw him the ball. C
RB Ronnie had its best game of the year. He had 22 carries for 127 yards and a TD. Morris was awful, 5 carries, 2 yards one fumble. Brown was running so good why would you hand it to Morris in critical situations ? Brown was probably tired but still, Brown was great but it did not help. B+
WR Booker who ? Hagan got his first chance and made the most of it. He did drop one big play when he was all alone and maybe another one, but considering it was his first extensive action he played very well. 6 catches for 66 yards. McMichael had 8 catches for 72 yards and Welker had 6 for 56 yards. The most dissapointing play was obviously Chambers. He did pad his stats to finish with 5 catches for 60 yards and a TD. Most of his yards were in the 4th quarter. He was responsible for the first INT on a perfect pass. He looks like a 2nd WR not a first star type WR. I always thought it was ridicoulus to vote him to the probowl last year (I mean he is playing in the same conference as Harrison, Chad Johnson, Ward, Coles and Andre Johnson) but still, he takes this great down. OL They played OK. Harrington was not sacked but the 2nd INT was a result of pressure. The run blocking was OK although Morris could not run with the same blockers meaning a lot was because of Brown, but still an OK game. C
LB Not spectacular, but they played OK. They are not that good to stop a team for the entire game, but they played OK. B-
DL The D-line did a decent good job. There wasn't a lot of pressure but they stopped the Jets running game. B-
Secondary They are not a very good unit. They can stop a team for 3 quarters but some time they will break and they did giving Coles two TDs. The first was a missed assignment as Coles was all alone. Giving Eddie Jackson, your 4th CB to stay with Coles is wishful thinking. even if the safety is supposed to help (it's Tillman not Ronnie Lott after all). D+
Special teams Mare is having an awful year on FGs. I was sure he is going to miss and anything over 45 yards was unrealistic. The problem is everybody thinks he an nail those 50 yarders that they did not take the chance and realize that if they don't get it inside the 30 they will lose. D
Coaching I just don't understand the play calling. a weird play on 3rd and 1 when Ronnie is running so good ? a FG try when you are down 6-0 at the 5 yard line (not to mention you're 1-4 on the season). They could not convert on 4th and a foot. I also though the thinking was if you don't get inside the 28, Mare will not make it. He was short AND wide (I thought he will miss only wide). The bottom line is the Dolphins are 1-5. F
