QB The only reason is not un F is pure luck, the Jets were droping INTs all day long. Lucas finished with OK numbers largely due to the fact he threw only safe short passes. There were only 2 or 3 perfect throws all night and there were a lot of bad throws that should have been intercepted. He threw an INT that was called back for a penalty that had nothing to do with the pick. He also fumbled on an exchange with Edwards... The wait for Fiedler look like eternity. D-
RB Williams didn't go anywhere. It's hard when 11 Jets are zooming in on him but still... He fumbled on the Jets 1... Edwards also fumbled, bad game for the RBs D-
WR Chambers had a TD and dropped it, the others, what others ? there was no real-more-than-8-yards passing game. D
OL I couldn't figure out if the pocket is collapsing on every down or is Lucas hysterical. No room for Willliams also. D
DL Curtis Martin ran wild on Miami, the pressure was mediocre to say the least. C
LB I don't care about the point total and Zach, I saw Martin running at will. C-
Secondary They were bound to give up the long pass eventually, too bad it was on the winning Jets' drive. They were OK. B-
Special teams An uneventful night. Minor could have done more on his returns. C
Coaching Poor game calling, not kicking a 54 yarder when the team can hardly score and electing to punt ? In the last seconds of the game 2nd and 2 from the Jets 38 (which translates into a 55 yards game tieing FG and they call a 10 yard drop back that ends in a sack and a virtual game over ? I know Mare isn't considered a FG with long range but he proved otherwise this year. F
