QB Lemon did not play well. Especially not giving much effort on a sure 1 yard TD run on 4th down where he came up an inch short. He completed less than 50% of his throws while getting sacked 7 times. His line at the enf of the game was 18 of 41 for 171 yards, 1 TD and no INTs D+
RB The running game along with the O-line play continued his regression. Chatman came back but both he and Gado could not run. The Dolphins leading rusher was third down specialist Lorenzo Booker (8 carries for 56 yards). Gado and Chatman had 11 carries for 43 yards. D+
WR They dropped some balls and could not get open. Ted Ginn led the way with 4 catches for only 27 yards. They did not try to throw deep. Just a bad game against the best team in the league. D+
OL The pass-blocking was one of the worst performances of the year (and on this team it means a lot). They gave up 7 sacks, and the run blocjking wasn't that much better either. F
LB Porter had a solid game with two sacks and a few pressures. As usual, They could not stop the run. D
DL New England ran all over the Dolphins. for 196 yards. Maroney had a career day with 156 yards on 14 carries (more than 11 yards per carry). He wasn't touched on the embarassing 59 yard TD and the tackling on the 51 yarder wasn't any better. F
Secondary The Pats completed anything they wanted to. They played much better in the second half, as Jason Allen recorded his 3rd INT of the year. D
Special teams Another mediocre game. Ginn was below average. They did take the ball from the Pats on a muff punt but being the Dolphins they did not score any points of the turnover. . C
Coaching 1-14 going on 1-15. The reasoning for spiking the ball on 1st down close to the Pats goal line with more than a minute to go is beyond me. They couldn't score on 4th down and ended up giving the ball away on downs with more than 15 seconds left in the half....Only reason to hope - this misery will soon end. The Parcells off season is just a few days away with big changes everywhere. D-
