QB Damon Huard started very slow completing passes for negative yardage. A long pass was a 3 yard throw. He had only 27 yards the entire first half. He played much better in the second half and had a nice comeback drive. He finished 22 of 33 for 183 yards and a TD. He didn't an INT and that kept the Dolphins in the game and gave them the opportunity to win. C
RB JJ Johnson had a mediocre game. He didn't break any 12-15 yard runs. Lamar Smith is obviously a better RB and there is a reaosn he is starting. Huard played very conservative and that increased the role of Johnson and Denson. Autry Denson was very good he started the winning drive with a 28 yard receptions. C
WR Again, the recievers role was limited. Martin was non-existent. Gadsden was quiet untill the huge game winning 17 yard TD. Shepherd caught 7 passes for 41 yards but most of his passes were very short and some went for a loss (a WR catching balls for negative yardage...) D+
OL The played OK, gave decent protection and blocked OK for the run.C
DL The didn't get a sack but that was expected with Manning, they did pressure him and the run defense was OK considering the competition. B
LB Zach was back but he wasn't 100%, Jones was quiet as usual. The hole defense played well and thwy are a part of that. B
Secondary Huge game. 14 points. Only 209 yards for Manning. Harrison cught 2 TDs but other than that he didn't do anything. Marion got the INT that turned the momentum and gave Miami the chance to win. A
Special teams Good game. Owens blocked the Colt attempt for the tie. Mare kicked his kickoffs deep. The only reason it's not an A, was the 36 yard return by Wilkins. I warned about him because he had that big TD return last year. B+
Coaching Great game, great. The team was prepared and played as well as possible considering they were without their starting QB and RB and without OJ. Nobody thought they would win and they did. A
