QB It's pretty easy when your RB gets 228 yards running. But Lucas threw for 40 yards...(that's f-o-r-t-y) and Fiedler for a grand total of 15 (that's one five). Lucas gave the Bills 7 points in a fumble and Fiedler in an awful INT. If he can't throw then don't play him. F
RB Ricky Williams rushed for 228 yards, 2 long TDs (55, 45). He had his 7th 100 yard game of the season (franchise record), broke the single game franchise rushing record (set in 1973...), broke the franchise season rushing record (set in 1978) and became the first Dolphin ever to rush for more than 200 yards in a game. If this is not an A+ I don't know what is. A+
WR Pathetic performance by the passing game. I know it was snowing but it was snowing on the Bills too and it didn't prevent Bledsoe from throwing for more than 300 yards (with long balls into the wind). I mean McMichael (better he be invisible than make mistakes) fumbled when he tried reaching for the first down while going down, sounds normal ? he was 5 yards shy ! awful game. F
OL The pass protection was OK. Sure Lucas fumbled during a sack but sacks happen. Look in RB for the running performance. Can't overlook that. B-
LB Even Zach missed tackles. They were awful. Henry ran wild at will. F
DL Yes, they got 4 sacks on a pedestrian QB, but Henry controlled the game with his running. D
Secondary Does Sam Madison get a TD pass for giving Moulds a 57 yard TD on a grossly underthrown ball ? They got beat all day by Bledsoe who threw for more than 300 yards in a snow storm with all kinds of big plays 73, 57, 48 yarders you name it Bledsoe threw it. F!
Special teams I mean a 14 yard punt ? I don't care what kind of snow was falling, it also snowed on Buffalo's punts, didn't it ? and Minor didn't remind anyone of the Eagles' Brian Mitchell. The Dolphins haven't returned a kickoff for a TD since the late 80s. That was the begining of a term of an all different George Bush. D
Coaching The Grandaddy of them all, coaching. Someone must explain this to me. If Fiedler can't throw why is he playing ? and when you are down 10 or 17 in the 4th quarter, isn't this a desperate situation ? Why the hell play conservative 5 yard throws ? go for the score, try to win. This season may be over because to make the playoffs the Dolphins will probably have to win at New England in late December and you thought this was cold... (assuming they get by Chicago, Minnesota on the road and Oakland - no less...) F!
