QB Pennington played a horrible game. Throwing an INT and fumbling. He could not get the ball downfield and only had dunk passes. Just a bad game. D-
RB Ricky played well, but he was the only decent player on the offense. Ronnie did not have a good game. Ricky had 7 rushes for 39 yards and Ronnie managed 43 on 10 carries most of them at the end of the game against the prevent. Ricky scored the only TD of the game in the 4th quarter. C
WR What an awful day for Anthony Fasano, 2 lost fumbles, one inside the Falcons 10 and instead of tieing the game going into the break the Dolphins were down by 10 and it was over. Ginn had only two catches. Bess' 7 catches can not get this grade up from Fasano's horror day. F
OL One of the worst games I've ever seen by a Dolphins line in recent memory, remember this is one og the highest paid lines in the NFL. Long gave up 2 sacks and made Chad throw it away afew times, Carey wasn;t much better and Pennington really din't have any time to throw. Just awful. F!
LB A decent day, quiet day for Porter. Crowder made a few nice plays and Taylor got a sack. C+
DL The D-Line iwas playing a decent game in the first half, expecially Philip Merling. They did lose a step in the second half. C+
Secondary Lucky, very lucky in the first half, Smith was burnt a few times and the Falcons could have scored 2 more TDs by halftime. Next week, Manning won't miss like Ryan did. They got in the second half. D+
Special teams How bad were the return units ? 5 kick returns for ana average of 18 yards, That's one eight. The longest return 21 yards, a touchback is 20...F
Coaching The team played a very very bad game and they had 9 months to prepare. They didn't stick with the wildcard (the normal Ronnie wildcat), White looked awful, really, Ronnie can throw better than White. If Henning really thinks White can run this offense... The Dolphins have the Colts and Chargers next, this could be a long season, Chad Henne anyone ? F
