Grading the Dolphins
QB Marino didn't play very good. His numbers were O.K - 21 of 35 (60%) for 221 yards and 1 TD,
but He also threw 2 INT, one of which was returned for a TD. C+
RB Like the rest of the offense the running game was not very good. The Dolphins rushed for 88 yards with a low
yards per carry average. Cecil Collins was the Dolphins leading Rusher carring 15 times for 45 yards. C-
WR A part from Drayton which was very good catching 5 passes for 50 yards and a touchdown the rest of the WRs were not very good.
OJ Mcduffie caught 4 passes for 85 yards but fumbled a would be TD. C-
OL Marino wasn't rushed but the run blocking wasn't very good.B-
DL The defense was very good so was the D line. they had 2 sacks and stopped the Arizona running game. A lot of penalties... A-
Cecil Collins in his NFL debut
LB Another great game for Zach who got an INT in the Dolphins endzone and had 10 Tkls. Jones played prety well too. A
CB/S 3 of Miami's 4 INT came from the secondary Madison having 2 and Marion one. On the down side a lot of penalties against the secondary. A-
Special teams A fumble on a kickoff return isn't acceptable, but Marion did run one kickoff back for 50 yards. C
