QB Pennigton didn't play very well. It doesn't help when you don't have any WRs. It looked as if Chad Henne has much more zip on his passes but he was playing against an ultra-prevent defense. Penny finished 10 of 20 for 112 only yards. Henne 7 of 12 for 67 yards.D-
RB The running game was irrelevant by the second half. The was zero running room and every offensive play became an adventure. Ronnie and Ricky each got 11 rushes, Ricky gained only 28 yards and Ronnie even less - 25. Ronnie scored his first TD of 2008. D-
WR Ginn had 1 catch. O-N-E. At first I thought he was out of the game as he could not get on the field. Hagan "led" the team with 51 yards on 3 catches, all in garbage time. They are just not good enoug. Only bright spot - David Martin, another fine day for him - 3 for 32 yards, hey relatively speaking... F
OL The run-blocking bad. The pass blocking was bad as well. That's puting it mildly. D-
LB The defnse can't stop the run again but who needs the run when opposing QBs can have a perfect 158.3 rating while throwing for nore than 350 yards ? D-
DL Again the run blocking wasn't very good and Warner had all day to throw (he didn't need the time the WRs weren't covered). Awful face mask penalty for Langford negating his own sack. Merling is improving. D-
Secondary Even Will Allen was awful. First Cards play - they forgot to cover Boldin- that's Anquan multiple-Pro Bowls-top-5-receiver Boldin. The play resulted in a 79 yard TD, on the next drive they gave up a 75 to Fitzgerald. Boldin finished with 6 catches for 140 yards and 3 TDs while Fitzgerald added another 6 catches for 153 yards. Warner was 19 of 24 for 361 yards 3 TDs for a perfect 158.3 rating. F!!!!!!!
Special teams With all do respect to Davone Bess, we have to get Ginn on the field somehow ? They did OK C
Coaching Awful game, the missed call on the 79 yarder, 12 man on the field - TWICE (and even with 12 they could not stop the Cards). They just looked sloppy and unprepared. New England is up next, Ouch... F
